1. What Role Roster is

Role Roster is a Discord bot operated by Ronya Ross ("we", "us", "our"). When added to a Discord server, it lets members display a roster: a numbered, alphabetically ordered list of the members who hold a chosen role, along with a member count. Rosters can also be posted to a channel, where they update automatically as role membership changes.

2. Accepting these terms

By inviting Role Roster to a server or by using its commands, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the bot. You must also comply with Discord's own Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.

3. Who can add the bot

Only add Role Roster to servers where you have the authority to do so (for example, you are the server owner or hold the Manage Server permission). You are responsible for telling your server members that the bot is present and what it does.

4. The service

• The /roster command shows the members of a chosen role.
• Posted rosters are live: when members gain or lose the role, the posted list refreshes on its own.
• Features may be added, changed, or removed over time, and the bot may occasionally be offline for maintenance or reasons outside our control. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

5. Paid features

Some features may be offered for a fee. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never receive or store your full payment card details. Fees are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. Prices and paid features may change, and changes will not affect a term you have already paid for.

6. Acceptable use

• Do not use Role Roster to harass, stalk, spam, or target members.
• Do not use the bot to collect member lists for purposes unrelated to running your server.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the bot or its hosting.
• Do not use the bot in any server or manner that violates Discord's Terms of Service.

We may suspend or remove the bot's access for any server or user who breaks these rules.

7. Ending use

Server admins may remove Role Roster from a server at any time, which immediately ends the bot's access to that server. We may discontinue the service at any time; if we shut it down permanently, we will announce it in the support server where practical.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the bot, including lost data, lost members, or server disputes. Rosters reflect membership data supplied by Discord at the moment they are generated or refreshed.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The current version will always be posted on this page with its "last updated" date. Continuing to use the bot after a change means you accept the updated terms.
